I no longer know this land. I came looking for wild overgrown non-places. Where are the lush, green-filled spaces? Foggy thoughts and hazy skies. Wildfires in our minds. Unsteady conversations of loss and fear. I don’t know where I am, and I no longer know this land.

BARK PAINTINGS: Abstract mixed media assemblages made from reclaimed material such as former paintings and other remnants of making. Tree bark is of course the protective outer layer of dead tissue and peeling way this excess bark reveals new, vulnerable growth. The eyelets reference transience, mobility and adaptation.
