Contemporary Artist | My Life in Trees

Disrupted

Tree stumps are headless figures and embodiments of disruption. Truncated and hollowed trees are relics of ruin but also places of protection. They are sculptural sites of regeneration and bearers of hidden life. The tree stump is a motif that acts as a vessel to not only play with material and gesture, but to also tell a story of renewal.
